Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Donavon (ranked 648 p4p, 92 weight class) and Josh Wade (ranked 2194 p4p, 303 weight class). Wade is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2Pac - Hail Mary. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Wade!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donavon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Donavon slips a jab and a cross from Wade.
Wade lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Donavon circles away quickly and effectively.
Wade drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Wade looks to land a combination but Donavon avoids it well.
Wade bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Donavon lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wade throws a combination. Donavon tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Chris Donavon has been cut.
Wade swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wade throws a right and a left that Donavon avoids nicely.
Donavon tests Wade's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Donavon misses with an uppercut. Wade saw that one coming.
Donavon dodges the punch combination from Wade.
Donavon fails to land with a series of punches.
Donavon connects with a jab.
Donavon slips under a jab.
Wade misses with a jab to the body
and Donavon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wade is rocked!
Wade throws a combination that misses
and Donavon counters with a straight right hand.
Wade is still on wobbly legs! Can Donavon finish him?
Donavon ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Wade's jaw. Wade's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Donavon does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Donavon!
Chris Donavon decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
