Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Travis Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredrik Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fredrik Stewart!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stewart.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Stewart pushes him off.
Miller misses with a head kick.

Miller gets a takedown into half guard.
Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stewart keeps working.

Miller is looking for a kimura here.
Miller trying to control the action but Stewart is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stewart looks like he's trying to stand up.
Miller thows a huge punch but Stewart dodges it nicely.
Miller stalling.
Stewart wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller trying to pass the guard but Stewart defending well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stewart throws a push kick but Miller slaps the foot to one side.

Stewart drives through and clinches with Miller against the cage.
Miller tries to score a body lock takedown but Stewart shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Miller pulls guard.
Stewart tries to stand but Miller is controlling from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Miller looking for a sweep. Not yet Miller, not yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Travis Miller dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Miller slips a jab and a cross from Stewart.
Miller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stewart.

Stewart gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Stewart wants to get back to striking at distance but Miller won't allow it.
Miller blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Stewart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller tries to clinch up.
Miller closes the distance looking to clinch
and Stewart counters with a good, hard body kick but Miller shrugs it off.
Stewart misses with a few strikes there.
Travis Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Miller moves out of range of the body kick.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt.
Miller avoids a kick to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Miller gets a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Stewart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fredrik Stewart is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Miller misses with a kick to the body.
Miller throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Miller bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Miller throws an off balance right hand
and Stewart counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Miller is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stewart.


It looks like Travis Miller has been cut.
Stewart misses with a two punch combination.
Miller wants to clinch but Stewart slips to the side
and Stewart counters with a leg kick.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stewart throws a right and a left that both miss.
Miller showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stewart.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stewart fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Stewart. No joy for Miller on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stewart throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Miller decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stewart's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Miller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Miller slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Miller trying to control the action but Stewart is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fredrik Stewart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Travis Miller's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Miller doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stewart counters with a slapping leg kick.
Stewart throws a right and a left that Miller avoids nicely.
Miller with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Miller slips a jab and a cross from Stewart.
Miller scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A shot to the body from Miller misses
and Stewart counters with an inside leg kick.

Miller decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Miller trying to pass the guard but Stewart defending well.

Miller is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Miller keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Stewart takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stewart pushes Miller off looking to stand but Miller dives back in and keeps control.
Miller performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Miller is looking for a kimura but Stewart is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Miller to get the leverage.
Stewart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Miller performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Miller stops Stewart from getting back to his feet.
Miller seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Travis Miller showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
