Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ezra Johns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ambassa Eboudou Ngalani!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ngalani feints and as Johns raises his hands in defense, Ngalani changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Johns uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Johns gets caught napping as Ngalani dives in and scores a takedown. Johns manages to retain guard.
Ngalani won't allow Johns to sweep him here.
Johns is controlling Ngalani's posture.
Ngalani is looking to advance position but Johns has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johns is landing with some decent strikes but Ngalani is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Johns really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Johns lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Johns throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Ngalani tries to lock up and control but Johns gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Johns cracks Ngalani with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Johns wants to finish this one by submission but Ngalani is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Johns.

Johns is landing with some decent strikes but Ngalani is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Johns bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ngalani's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ezra Johns is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Johns thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ngalani's head.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johns, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
