Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Boesku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Bozeck! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bozeck tries to bum rush Boesku with a series of wild strikes but Boesku uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Boesku half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Boesku has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bozeck finds it's way round the side to connect with Boesku's head. Bozeck scores with a nice strike. Bozeck looks to land a combination but Boesku avoids it well. Boesku appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A shot to the body from Boesku misses and Bozeck counters with a slapping leg kick. Boesku blocks a jab. Boesku tries for a takedown but Bozeck sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Boesku fails with the takedown. Bozeck throws a lazy body kick and Boesku decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bozeck's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bozeck is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bozeck is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boesku pulls his head out easily. Boesku in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bozeck tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Boesku!
