Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Chimper (ranked 5929 p4p, 539 weight class) and Jenk Onay (ranked 6359 p4p, 556 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Chimper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jenk Onay!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimper defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Onay.
Onay stuffs the takedown.
Chimper misses with a takedown attempt - Onay sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chimper stuffs the takedown attempt from Onay. Onay gets slowly back to his feet.
Onay shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chimper is trying to defend but Onay finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ground and pound from Onay.
Onay working over Chimper with some ground and pound. Chimper looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Chimper is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Arvins Bootcamp that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chimper looks like he's trying to stand up.
Onay winds up and cracks Chimper with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Chimper looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Onay seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Onay is stalling here. Chimper is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Onay seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Chimper has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Onay wants to get back to his feet.
Onay is looking for a sweep.
Onay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chimper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chimper is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Onay knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Onay wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Chimper has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Onay's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Onay is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Chimper!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jake Chimper!
A very excited looking Jake Chimper rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
