Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Allen Vick (ranked 25187 p4p, 723 weight class) and Katy Perry (ranked 8077 p4p, 689 weight class). Perry has chosen Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vick throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Perry counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Allen Vick has been cut.
Perry throws a sloppy head kick and Vick moves out of range easily.
Perry tries to clinch there but Vick circles away.

Perry drives through with a takedown into Vick's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Vick controls Perry momentarily but Perry frees himself.

Vick looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Perry tries to stand but Vick is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vick is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Vick looking to hit a scissor sweep but Perry is one step ahead there.

Perry stands up and waves to Vick to follow him.
Perry closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vick circles away.
Vick throws a right and a left that both miss.
Perry changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Vick showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Perry.

and Perry counters with a series of strikes. Vick will be more careful next time no doubt.

Vick tries to bum rush Perry with a series of wild strikes but Perry uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Perry.
Perry shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vick as he avoids it easily.
Allen Vick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Katy Perry.
A solid leg kick lands there for Perry.
Vick looks for a takedown but Perry sprawls well.
Perry dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Perry scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Perry counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Vick is breathing heavily.
Perry lands with a shot to the body.
Nice shot lands for Perry.
Perry throws a right hand that Vick ducks under and follows up with a left that Vick also avoids with ease.
Perry turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Perry shoots in looking for a takedown. Vick tries to sprawl out of it but Perry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Vick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Perry fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vick looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Vick blocks a head kick by Perry.
A nice combination there by Perry.
Perry is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Vick rather than just go for the knockout.

and Perry counters with a left and a right that stings Vick.
Oh Vick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Perry has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Perry fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Perry lands a brutal head kick. Vick looks out on his feet and Perry throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Katy Perry spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
