Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hidetaka Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaewkwan Plumuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sato comes to the cage accompanied by Maximum the Hormone - Buikikaesu. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hidetaka Sato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaewkwan Plumuk! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Plumuk. Hidetaka Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sato fails to land with a series of punches.
Sato tries to close the distance and clinch up but Plumuk swats him away and circles back towards the center. Plumuk with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sato moves in looking to clinch but Plumuk pushes him off. A telegraphed right hand from Sato misses the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sato fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sato shoots in for a double leg but Plumuk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plumuk connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Plumuk's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Plumuk duly obliges. Sato looks for a takedown but Plumuk sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hidetaka Sato. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Sato or perhaps it was just good defense by Plumuk which made him look bad. Sato is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Plumuk swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sato lands with a kick to the temple. Plumuk shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Sato tries for a takedown but Plumuk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Plumuk throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sato counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sato is breathing heavily. Sato prevents Plumuk from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plumuk keeping moving, preventing Sato from controlling successfully. Sato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Plumuk swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sato is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sato throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Plumuk works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Plumuk swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Plumuk moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Sato throws a leg kick that is checked and Plumuk counters with a low kick, right behind Sato 's knee. Sato tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Sato tries to clinch but Plumuk moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hidetaka Sato dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Plumuk fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sato. Plumuk tries to bum rush Sato with a series of wild strikes but Sato uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sato stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Plumuk. Sato tries to clinch up but Plumuk circles away and keeps his distance. A punch combination from Plumuk misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sato misses the jab. Sato misses with a body shot
and Plumuk counters with a low kick, right behind Sato 's knee.
That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Plumuk. Plumuk keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sato tries to clinch but Plumuk moves out of range. Sato throws a body kick the misses and Plumuk makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Sato shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Plumuk as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Plumuk works over Sato's head and body with a nice combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A left and a right from Plumuk both land. Nice combination. Plumuk lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Sato closes the distance and clinches up with Plumuk, looking for a takedown. Sato pushes Plumuk against the cage but Plumuk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hidetaka Sato. That's going to take a lot out of him. A good leg kick by Plumuk. Hidetaka Sato is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sato throws a body kick the misses and Plumuk counters with a good low kick that Sato was not able to check. A head kick by Sato misses and Plumuk counters with a thumping low kick. Plumuk misses with a two punch combination.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Plumuk, right into the meat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sato takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sato stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Plumuk. A head kick by Sato misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Plumuk. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Plumuk, right into the meat.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Plumuk swats away the attempt to clinch by Sato. A head kick by Sato misses and Plumuk makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaewkwan Plumuk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Sato throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Plumuk's waist but Plumuk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sato off to one side. Sato takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A slapping leg kick lands for Plumuk.
A low kick from Sato is predictable there and Plumuk counters with an inside leg kick. Sato shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Plumuk is looking to stand up but Sato isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sato wants to control from the top but Plumuk keeps moving. Sato with a flurry of punches that miss. Sato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Plumuk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sato pushing down on Plumuk's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Plumuk can do anything to dispel that myth. Sato is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Plumuk swats away the attempt to clinch by Sato.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sato throws a sloppy head kick and Plumuk counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sato's knee momentarily. Plumuk lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sato closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Plumuk wants to get back to his feet but Sato drags him back down. Sato tries to move to mount but Plumuk blocks the move with his legs. Sato wants to lay and pray for a moment but Plumuk keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Plumuk is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Sato stands up and beckons Plumuk to his feet. Sato tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Plumuk paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Hidetaka Sato showed his dominance in that final round. I think Sato has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
