Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Couture (ranked 2158 p4p, 64 weight class) and Vinnie Sixx (ranked 3638 p4p, 118 weight class). Sixx comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Fire of Power by WATAIN kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sixx clobbers Couture with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Couture displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sixx throws out the jab.
Couture ducks right into an uppercut from Sixx.

It looks like Vinnie Sixx has been cut.
Sixx has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Couture after a bit of a struggle.

Sixx's coach down at Touch Of Death Combat Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sixx's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Sixx throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Sixx drops down looking for an ankle pick but Couture pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sixx throws a hook but Couture blocks it.
Couture throws a solid leg kick but Sixx takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Couture.
Couture is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Couture throws a body shot but no joy.
Sixx swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Couture tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Sixx manages to circle out of the way.
Couture dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Sixx rushes Couture and presses him up against the cage.
Sixx misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Couture.
Couture lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Sixx.

Couture has Sixx pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Couture pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sixx tumbling to the mat - Couture dives into Sixx's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sixx is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Couture is aware though and is defending well.

That has opened up Vinnie Sixx's cut even more.
Couture wants to control from the top but Sixx keeps moving.
Couture is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sixx wants to sweep but no luck.

Vinnie Sixx's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vinnie Sixx's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
