Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slade Spong (ranked 4727 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Allen (ranked 6206 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen has chosen WHAT THE HECK?! (Please watch whole video, it's worth it, trust me) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen instigates a clinch.
Spong blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Allen lands a hook to the side of the head.
Allen lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Spong tries to pull guard but Allen holds him up against the cage and eventually Spong drops back down to his feet.
Allen swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Allen misses with an elbow strike.
Allen lands a hook that snaps the head of Spong backwards.
Allen pushes Spong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Allen breaks from the clinch.
Spong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Spong moves out of range of the body kick from Allen.
Spong shoots in and drives through. Allen sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slade Spong. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Allen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Spong looks for a takedown but Allen sprawls well.

and Spong counters with a stiff right hand.

Allen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Spong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Allen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Allen prevents Spong from breaking the clinch.
Spong tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Allen smiles and moves away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Spong drops down looking for an ankle pick but Allen pulls his leg out and moves away.

Spong looks to land a combination but Allen avoids it well.
Allen is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Spong with a body shot.

Allen clinches up with Spong and pushes him back against the cage.
Allen lands a nice uppercut.
Spong looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Allen works on Spong's body with a couple of short punches.

Allen digs a right hand into Spong's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Spong's gas tank.

A nice right hand lands inside from Allen.
Spong is rocked!
Spong dodges an elbow strike from Allen.
Oh Spong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spong is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Allen drops Spong onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Spong is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Allen dips a shoulder and cracks Spong with a mighty uppercut! Spong falls back against the cage and Allen unloads with a barrage of strikes! Spong is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Allen screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Allen!
Eddie Allen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
