Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Sin!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sin.
Cole is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Cole lands a nice hook to Sin's body. Sin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cole definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Sin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cole napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sin throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Sin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cole, who protects the arm well.
Sin slows the pace down.
Cole takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sin fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Cole is looking for a sweep.
Sin throws a strike aimed at the side of Cole's head but Cole avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cole is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Cole regains half guard there - taking advantage of Sin's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Sin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Sin trying to control from half guard but Cole is working away.
Cole tries to roll over but Sin keeps him under control.

Sin throwing shots but Cole is blocking nicely.
Ground and pound from Sin.

Sin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cole sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cole is trying to control but can't.
Cole is looking for a sweep. Sin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sin is trying to control the action in half guard but Cole is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Sin working the head and body with strikes.
Sin wants to take a breather but Cole is having none of it.
Sin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Sin prevents Cole from improving his position.
Sin trying to control from half guard but Cole is working away.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Sin goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Cole does a handstand and catches Sin in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Cole on top - Sin is already out from the submission! Cole gives Sin's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (TDPW) . James Cole!
James Cole seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
