The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavi scores with a shot to the body.

Aiden closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Aiden lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Aiden trying to control but Tavi is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aiden postures up in Tavi's guard and throws a big left but Tavi blocks it.
Tavi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tavi tries to get out of the position.
Tavi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Aiden drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Aiden seems to have locked his on tight now - Tavi screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Aiden, as he picks up the win!
