Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Valerdi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valerdi takes the fight into the clinch.
Wiggins wants to take the fight to the mat but Valerdi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Valerdi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wiggins is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Valerdi to the mat. Valerdi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Valerdi kicks Wiggins off and gets to his feet.
Valerdi scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wiggins is looking to reverse the position.
Valerdi working away.
Valerdi wants to control but Wiggins is keeping him busy.
Wiggins can't do much from the bottom here.
Valerdi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Valerdi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Valerdi throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Wiggins works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Wiggins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Valerdi tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Valerdi performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Valerdi trying to control the action but Wiggins is working from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Wiggins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Valerdi throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
A thudding body kick lands there by Valerdi!
Valerdi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wiggins tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Valerdi is in Wiggins's guard.

Valerdi gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wiggins has Valerdi up against the cage in a clinch.
Wiggins gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Wiggins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Valerdi scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Valerdi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wiggins did well to prevent Valerdi getting side control.
Wiggins is breathing heavily.
Wiggins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Valerdi is working away from the top position though.
Valerdi controlling the action here.
Valerdi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wiggins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Wiggins is rocked!

Valerdi is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Wiggins is hurt! He's hurt bad - Valerdi fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Wiggins from any more punishment! Congratulations to Valerdi! Great finish!
