Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aslambek Khalidov (ranked 6008 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walid Seghir (ranked 6026 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aslambek Khalidov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Walid Seghir! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khalidov shoots for a double leg takedown but Seghir sprawls well. He's pushed Khalidov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Khalidov goes for a double leg but Seghir avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Seghir continues to drive forward. Khalidov instigates a clinch. Seghir is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Khalidov can't fight it off and eventually Seghir manages to take the fight to the floor. Khalidov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Khalidov is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Seghir dives into side control.
Seghir has knee on belly and moves into mount. Seghir controlling the pace for now. Khalidov wants to hold on but Seghir pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seghir looking to control and managing it successfully. Seghir with the ground and pound from mount. Khalidov is looking to get to half guard. Seghir looking to finish Khalidov with some ground and pound. This is bad for Khalidov! Khalidov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Seghir takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Seghir cracks Khalidov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seghir throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Seghir thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Seghir controlling the pace for now. Khalidov keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Seghir breaks from Khalidov's wrist control and lands an elbow. Khalidov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seghir on the ground. Khalidov wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seghir is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Khalidov is surviving well by controlling Seghir's body position as best he can. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Seghir lands a big shot there that rocks Khalidov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Seghir blocks Khalidov's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Khalidov is working to get back to half guard.
Seghir controlling the position easily from mount. Seghir is landing with some decent strikes but Khalidov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Khalidov wants to control but Seghir is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seghir is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Khalidov can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Seghir controlling the pace for now. Khalidov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Khalidov tries to get out of the position. Khalidov tries to control Seghir's head but Seghir pushes him back down and moves quickly to lock up an arm here - he's swung around for an armbar! Will he get it??? Yes! Khalidov is tapping out! Lovely Jiu Jitsu there!
