Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
37 - 38 - 1, fighting out of London, Max Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dirk McDirk! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.

Bear fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McDirk avoids it really well and circles away. Sloppy strikes from McDirk. Those never looked like landing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bear is defended easily by McDirk. A little jabbing left from McDirk on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Bear fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him. McDirk throws a shot to the body.
Bear fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McDirk lands a jab-cross combination. Bear shoots and misses and McDirk counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bear throws a right hand that McDirk ducks under and follows up with a left that McDirk also avoids with ease. McDirk lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bear wants to clinch and McDirk counters with a straight right hand.

As Bear backs off McDirk throws a huge counter combo but Bear manages to avoid it all. Bear gets off balance looking for a body kick and McDirk counters with a two punch combo. Bear is breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from McDirk. No joy for Bear on that attempt. McDirk lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
McDirk cracks Bear with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bear tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McDirk pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bear is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirk McDirk!
