Sol comes into a darkened arena with his song building. SFIV - Theme of Ryu 2 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollywood loads up on a big right hand but Sol slips the punch.
Nice defenses there by Sol.
Hollywood defending well as Sol loads up on a big left hand.
Sol tries to clinch but Hollywood is having none of it.
Hollywood throws a combination. Sol tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like YB Sol has been cut.
Hollywood scores with a decent looking hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hollywood scores with the left hand. Sol knows he should have avoided that one.
Sol misses with a hook. Hollywood ducked under it nicely.
Sol looks to score with a jab to the body but Hollywood is just out of range.
Sol throws a looping overhand right but Hollywood ducks down to avoid it.
Hollywood keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sol.
Hollywood lands a right hook to the body.
Hollywood with a nice cross.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hollywood!
Sol walks straight into a right hand from Hollywood - that's dropped him! Hollywood jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sol from any more punishment! Sol complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). David Hollywood!
