The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyers tries for a takedown but Martin circles away easily
and Meyers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Martin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Meyers quickly recovers to half guard.
Meyers scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Martin manages to mount him!

Meyers is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Martin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Meyers to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Meyers shrugs it off.
Martin lands a couple of good shots and Meyers has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Martin has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Meyers! Can he survive? No! He's out! Martin gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
