Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walid Seghir (ranked 5014 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raulian Satoshi (ranked 6020 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Walid Seghir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Raulian Satoshi! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seghir closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Satoshi did well to prevent Seghir getting side control. Seghir content to control rather than advance. Satoshi tries to get to full guard but Seghir has control of the leg. Seghir takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Satoshi trying to control here.
It looks like Seghir is going to stand back up.
Seghir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Satoshi on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Seghir is looking to advance position but Satoshi won't allow it. Seghir wants to stand up but Satoshi is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seghir takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Seghir is looking for a kimura here.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Seghir controlling the action here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Seghir tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Satoshi throws a head kick but Seghir moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Satoshi has a takedown stuffed. Satoshi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Satoshi misses with the ground and pound. Seghir is looking for a sweep. Satoshi tries for a kimura but Seghir is defending well. Seghir throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seghir is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Satoshi has just dragged him back down to the mat. Seghir managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Satoshi.
Satoshi tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Satoshi trying to control the position but Seghir is working away. Seghir tries to improve position but can't. Seghir pushes Satoshi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Satoshi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Satoshi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Seghir keeps working.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Satoshi shoots in looking for a takedown. Seghir tries to sprawl out of it but Satoshi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Seghir manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Seghir rushes Satoshi and presses him up against the cage. Satoshi tries to break free but Seghir pushes him back against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Seghir.
Satoshi goes for a takedown attempt but Seghir pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Walid Seghir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raulian Satoshi. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Satoshi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Seghir is looking to counter the offense by Satoshi and move into the clinch. Seghir pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Satoshi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Seghir is fending him off so far but Satoshi persists. Nope, Seghir circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Walid Seghir dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Satoshi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Seghir to score an easy takedown into full guard. Satoshi lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Seghir is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Seghir wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Satoshi throws a big elbow that misses. Seghir is keeping the position for now. Seghir controls Satoshi momentarily but Satoshi frees himself. Seghir pulls Satoshi in close to his closed guard and prevents Satoshi from doing any damage or advancing position.

Seghir is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Satoshi can do to turn this around? Seghir stalling the fight.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Satoshi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Seghir controls the pace. Satoshi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Seghir pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Satoshi shoots in and drives through. Seghir sprawls well. Seghir moves into the clinch. Satoshi tries to throw a body punch but Seghir avoids it by throwing Satoshi back against the cage.

Seghir has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Satoshi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Satoshi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Seghir throws a leg kick but Satoshi sees it coming and checks it nicely. Satoshi fails in his attempt to clinch. Seghir stuffs the takedown. Walid Seghir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raulian Satoshi. Satoshi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Satoshi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Seghir sprawls well. Seghir wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Satoshi gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seghir gets a clinch. Satoshi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Seghir is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Satoshi to the mat. Satoshi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Satoshi can't keep his opponent in guard - Seghir advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Satoshi wants to improve his position but Seghir is controlling well.

And that's the end of the fight! Walid Seghir showed his dominance in that final round. Well Seghir has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
