Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Rak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcin Rak!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar scores a takedown into full mount!
Rak tries to reverse the position but Lesnar maintains control.
Rak wants to hold on but Lesnar pushes him away.
Rak is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar lands a big shot there that rocks Rak but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rak is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Lesnar postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rak looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rak is trying desperately to improve position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rak is trying to reverse the position but instead Lesnar has taken his back - oops!
Lesnar is punishing Rak with strikes - can he finish him?!
Rak is in bad spot here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rak holding both Lesnar 's hands and preventing any damage.
Rak looks gassed!
Rak is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Rak controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Lesnar lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Rak.

Lesnar throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Rak!
The referee is taking a good look at Rak as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Lesnar!
Rak can't escape the position.
Will Lesnar go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Lesnar trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Rak doesn't escape.

Lesnar working for a choke but Rak is defending well.

Lesnar throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Rak!
Lesnar gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Lesnar biding his time, controlling Rak.

Lesnar is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Lesnar is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rak has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Lesnar is hanging on to Rak's back as he tries to escape.

Lesnar has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Lesnar wants to control but Rak manages to buck him off and is now in Lesnar's guard! Nice work there by Rak!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Lesnar dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Excellent takedown into side control there by Lesnar.
Rak is trying to buck Lesnar off.
Rak is trying to control Lesnar's posture but Lesnar avoids it.
Lesnar wants to control but Rak is keeping him busy.
Lesnar lands a few punches from side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lesnar is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rak's shoulder. That is not cool.

Lesnar goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rak has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lesnar but great work by Rak.
Rak tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lesnar's legs.

Rak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Rak wants to stand but Lesnar is controlling his arm.
Lesnar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Lesnar wants to improve his position but Rak is controlling well.
Rak prevents Lesnar from standing back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lesnar moves into full guard.
Rak wants to get up but he can't break Lesnar's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lesnar working for submissions but it's allowed Rak to get to half guard.
Rak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rak stops Lesnar from getting back to his feet.
Lesnar tries to get to full guard but Rak has control of the leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lesnar keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lesnar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rak wants to pass to mount but Lesnar is defending the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Rak throws a right hand that Lesnar ducks under and follows up with a left that Lesnar also avoids with ease.
Rak fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rak keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lesnar blocks a head kick by Rak.
Rak pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rak lands with a slapping head kick.
Lesnar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rak with a lazy takedown attempt

and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Rak trying to hold on to Lesnar's head to control him but Lesnar postures up.
Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rak keeps working.
Lesnar prevents Rak from improving his position.
Rak wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Lesnar dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Lesnar drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rak keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully.
Lesnar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rak is keeping the position for now.
Rak trying to keep a closed guard but Lesnar is proving a slippery customer.
Rak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rak manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Rak goes for an armbar but Lesnar turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lesnar.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lesnar won't allow Rak to sweep him here.
Lesnar trying to control but Rak is working from the bottom.
Lesnar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Lesnar is standing up over Rak. Rak looks to escape but Lesnar dives into side control.

Lesnar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rak, who protects the arm well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rak struggling a bit here.
Rak tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Rak wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Rak can't escape the position.
Rak wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Lesnar biding his time, looking for the opening.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rak controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Rak rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Lesnar is taking a breather. Rak says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rak keeps working.
Rak trying to control but Lesnar postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rak wants to get back to his feet.
Brock Lesnar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lesnar seems to be looking for submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up with Rak, looking for a takedown. Lesnar pushes Rak against the cage but Rak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Rak looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Lesnar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brock Lesnar.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lesnar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
