Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Philip Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Karnak Lao! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Darius Henderson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lao takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Moore lands with a cross. Nice shot by Moore.
It looks like Karnak Lao has been cut. Lao closes the distance looking to clinch and Moore counters with a right hand to the body. Moore connects with a crisp jab. Nice jab there from Moore. Lao shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moore defends it nicely. Moore throws out a powerful jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lao is defended easily by Moore. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moore fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lao has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore lands with a right hand.
Lao is rocked! Moore fakes the body blow, causing Lao to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Lao goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
