Rayne comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. Eddie Rayne could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Oscar Meyer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Meyer!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rayne lands with a nice body punch.
Rayne scores with a jab. Meyer acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rayne throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Meyer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Meyer misses with the combination.
Rayne is looking for a counter combo.
Rayne will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Meyer moves into the clinch successfully.
Our sources have told us that Rayne has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Meyer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Rayne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meyer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rayne counters with a straight right hand.
Meyer lands a nice shot to the body.

Rayne has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Meyer after a bit of a struggle.

Meyer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rayne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Eddie Rayne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Meyer.
Meyer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Meyer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rayne.

Meyer has managed to clinch.
Rayne wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rayne gets underhooks to prevent Meyer's takedown attempt.
Meyer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Meyer breaks from the clinch.
Meyer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Meyer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rayne gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Meyer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Meyer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Rayne is looking to take this one to the mat.
Rayne tries to break free but Meyer pushes him back against the cage.
Meyer tries for a takedown but Rayne manages to get underhooks.
Rayne has Meyer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Meyer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Meyer jumps guard but Rayne turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Rayne breaks from the clinch.
Meyer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rayne throws a body punch but Meyer moves out of range.
Rayne is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Meyer.
Meyer with the counter takedown but Rayne avoids it easily.
A jab from Meyer finds it's way through Rayne's defenses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Meyer throws a head kick but Rayne moves out of range.
Rayne shoots in but no luck this time.
Meyer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Meyer tries to close the distance and clinch but Rayne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Meyer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rayne.
Meyer tries to counter with a clinch but Rayne shakes him off and moves away.
Meyer takes a jab right on the kisser.
Meyer throws a nice head kick!


It looks like Eddie Rayne has been cut.
Meyer tries to clinch but Rayne is having none of it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rayne closes the distance and clinches up with Meyer, looking for a takedown. Rayne pushes Meyer against the cage but Meyer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Meyer shoots in looking for a takedown. Rayne tries to sprawl out of it but Meyer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rayne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Rayne will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Meyer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rayne paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rayne drops Meyer with a left right combo! Rayne follows him down to the ground into side control.


It looks like Oscar Meyer has been cut.

Rayne has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Meyer is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rayne yanks on the arm and Meyer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rayne.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Eddie Rayne!
