Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Adolph Talley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Little! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Talley to the mat! Talley manages to get full guard. Talley controls Little momentarily but Little frees himself. Talley working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Little. Little has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Little is in close to Talley's body, working some short punches and elbows. Little postures up in Talley's guard and throws a big left but Talley blocks it. Little is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Talley is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Talley has escaped and now he's on top! Little throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Talley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Little keeping moving, preventing Talley from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Little working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Talley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Talley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Talley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Little is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Little looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Little isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Talley stacks Little on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Talley!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Talley avoids the strikes from the bottom by Little. Little is looking to reverse the position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Little is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Talley off and has taken his back! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Talley is really stuck here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Little has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Talley! Can he survive? No! He's out! Little gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
