The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Em feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends The Platypus sprawling to the canvas! The Platypus rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Em finish him?!
The Platypus is rocked!
It looks like Perry The Platypus has been cut.
Em darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! The Platypus's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Em before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andy Em!
After winning the bout, Andy Em thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
