Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Grenoble (ranked 7940 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Em (ranked 5159 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Em scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Grenoble closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Grenoble lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Grenoble trying to control but Em is working from the bottom.
Grenoble sitting in guard, not really doing much.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Em is on top in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grenoble is trying to keep Em in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grenoble wants to sweep here but Em controlling him for the moment.
Grenoble looking to control.
Em wants to pass the guard but Grenoble is keeping the position.
Grenoble wants to stand and escape but Em is having none of it.
Em postures up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Grenoble trying to strike off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Em connects with a right hand. Grenoble shakes it off.

It looks like Tyler Grenoble has been cut.
Em scores with a punch to the head.
Em dodges the punch combination from Grenoble.
Em dips to his left and cracks Grenoble with an uppercut!
Grenoble gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Em.
Grenoble shoots and misses
and Em counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grenoble shoots for a takedown but Em saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Em looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Em changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Grenoble is breathing heavily.

Em drops Grenoble with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Grenoble looks back up at him and smiles so Em waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Grenoble is rocked!
Em ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Grenoble looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Grenoble glances at the clock... BAM! Em nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Grenoble crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Grenoble is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bryan Em!
