Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lenny Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Casillas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lenny Monroe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jacob Casillas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lenny Monroe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Casillas! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Casillas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Monroe moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Casillas keeps the fight on the outside. Casillas thows a left - swing and a miss! Monroe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Casillas is looking to regain half guard here but Monroe keeps moving and retains side control. Monroe tries for a kimura but Casillas is defending well. Monroe is looking to take a break and control but Casillas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casillas gets back to half guard. Casillas tries to get to full guard but Monroe has control of the leg. Monroe wants to pass to mount but Casillas is defending the position. Monroe trying to control the pace. Casillas tries to get to full guard but Monroe has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Casillas is not content to let Monroe control the position. Monroe is pressing down on Casillas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Casillas is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Casillas is looking to get back to full guard here but Monroe has managed to pass to side control instead. Casillas really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Casillas is desperately trying to improve his position but Monroe has a good base and remains in mount. Monroe trying to control but he's not successful this time. Casillas tries to reverse the position but Monroe maintains control. Monroe tries to control but Casillas wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Casillas wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Monroe.

Casillas regains half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Casillas is staying active underneath Monroe, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lenny Monroe dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Monroe gets a takedown into half guard. Monroe prevents Casillas from improving his position. Monroe is looking for a kimura but Casillas is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Monroe to get the leverage. Casillas makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Casillas. Monroe stops Casillas from standing up. Casillas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monroe throws a big right hand that misses. Monroe is looking to work some ground and pound but Casillas has wrist control. Monroe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Monroe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Casillas is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Monroe stays in close to Casillas's body and controls the position. Casillas keeping moving, preventing Monroe from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Casillas looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Monroe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Casillas has managed to clinch.
Monroe fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Casillas jumps guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Monroe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monroe wants to pass the guard but Casillas is keeping the position. Monroe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Casillas is looking to regain half guard here but Monroe keeps moving and retains side control. Casillas manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Monroe keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Monroe is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Casillas pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Casillas is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Monroe is trying desperately to improve position. Casillas is standing up, even though he is in mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Monroe throws a series of punches but Casillas moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacob Casillas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Nice shot lands for Casillas. Casillas cracks the inside of Monroe's front leg. Monroe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Casillas pinned against the cage. Casillas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Casillas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Monroe. Monroe shoots in for a takedown but Casillas shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lenny Monroe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Casillas lands with an uppercut that bounces Monroe off the cage and back into rage. Casillas connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Monroe to the floor! Casillas dives in looking for the finish!
Monroe is rocked!
It looks like Lenny Monroe has been cut. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Casillas lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Monroe! More strikes land and this one is all over! Casillas jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
