Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gary Carter had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Marquez.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch but Marquez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carter lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Marquez tries for a takedown but Carter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Carter feints and as Marquez raises his hands in defense, Carter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gary Carter will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Marquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Carter manages to get himself to full guard.

Well Marquez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
