Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaplan Temrezov (ranked 8959 p4p, 0 weight class) and Attish Mubeen (ranked 5427 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kaplan Temrezov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Attish Mubeen!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mubeen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Temrezov's guard.

Temrezov pushes Mubeen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Mubeen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Temrezov's guard.

Mubeen has gone for a leg lock! Temrezov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mubeen's guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Temrezov wants to stand but Mubeen is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mubeen keeping moving, preventing Temrezov from controlling successfully.
Mubeen wants to sweep here but Temrezov controlling him for the moment.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Temrezov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mubeen pulls Temrezov in close to prevent any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mubeen is on top in guard.


Temrezov is looking for a triangle but Mubeen pushes his legs off easily.
Mubeen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Temrezov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Temrezov throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mubeen uses it to pass to side control.

Temrezov tries to bench press Mubeen off him but Mubeen keeps the position.

Mubeen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

It looks like Mubeen might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Temrezov goes for a double leg but Mubeen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mubeen continues to drive forward.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Temrezov wants to improve his position but Mubeen is controlling well.

Mubeen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Temrezov pinned against the cage. Temrezov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Attish Mubeen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Mubeen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Temrezov shoots in and bounces Mubeen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Mubeen manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Mubeen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Temrezov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mubeen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Mubeen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Temrezov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mubeen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well Mubeen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
