The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirzamagomedov throws a right hand that Buckley ducks under and follows up with a left that Buckley also avoids with ease.
Buckley attempts a counter takedown but Mirzamagomedov avoids it well and moves away.
Mirzamagomedov tries to clinch but Buckley is having none of it.
Buckley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mirzamagomedov looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mirzamagomedov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Buckley has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Buckley and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Mirzamagomedov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Buckley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mirzamagomedov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mirzamagomedov tries to close the distance and clinch but Buckley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mirzamagomedov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buckley is trying to defend but Mirzamagomedov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mirzamagomedov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Buckley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mirzamagomedov.
