Brodie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Living Thing by ELO. The key to victory for Boris Tadic has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brodie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brodie slips a jab and a cross from Tadic.
Brodie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tadic defends it nicely.
Tadic lands with a good body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brodie shoots in but Tadic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Tadic misses its target.
Boris Tadic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Brodie.
Tadic stuffs the takedown.

Brodie walks into a stiff left hand from Tadic.
It looks like Ryan Brodie has been cut.
Tadic throws out a loose jab but Brodie uses good head movement to avoid it.

Tadic smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tadic takes a swing at Brodie's ribcage but misses.
Tadic connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brodie. Brodie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Brodie throws a wild hook but Tadic just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Brodie gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Tadic raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boris Tadic!
After winning the bout, Boris Tadic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
