The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motown shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Motown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Motown working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Motown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Motown wants to pass the guard but Smith is keeping the position.

Motown drops back looking for a leg! Smith is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smith manages to kick Motown off! Motown jumps back into Smith's guard.
Motown tries to free his leg and advance position but Smith is retaining full guard.
Smith wants to stand up but Motown is controlling him.
Motown trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Smith gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Motown won't allow Smith to sweep him here.

Motown drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Motown as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Smith screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Motown! Nice submission victory there!
