The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro tries to clinch up but Haye circles away and keeps his distance.

and Haye holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Haye tries a knee to the head but Ribeiro blocks it.
Ribeiro gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Haye is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ribeiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haye swivels though and keeps the full guard.
