Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bodonchar Munkhag (ranked 5745 p4p, 0 weight class) and Por Ponkan (ranked 4803 p4p, 0 weight class). Bodonchar Munkhag has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bodonchar Munkhag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Por Ponkan! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ponkan misses with a takedown attempt and Munkhag counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ponkan fails with the takedown and Munkhag counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Munkhag stalks Ponkan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ponkan's face. Ponkan staggers backwards, shaken. Munkhag definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ponkan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Munkhag lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ponkan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Munkhag to the mat! Munkhag manages to get full guard. Ponkan lands a couple of elbows. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Munkhag is controlling Ponkan's posture. Ponkan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Munkhag is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Munkhag seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ponkan connects with a couple of short punches. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Munkhag holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munkhag not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ponkan with a nice head shot there. Ponkan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ponkan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ponkan advances position into side control! Ponkan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Munkhag is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ponkan yanks on the arm and Munkhag is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ponkan.
