The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt scores with a hook to the body. The Platypus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hunt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hunt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Perry The Platypus has been cut.
The Platypus tries to clinch up
and Hunt counters with a nice body shot.
The Platypus looks winded!
Hunt lands a big uppercut and The Platypus crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but The Platypus looks OK. Hunt waves The Platypus back to his feet!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunt fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. The Platypus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The Platypus is still on wobbly legs! Can Hunt finish him?
Hunt measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes The Platypus! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Jason Hunt was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
