And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Motts!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Motts scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ground and pound from Motts seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Ford tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ford stops Motts from passing to mount.

Ford on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ford tries to get out of the position.
Ford is not content to let Motts control the position.
Motts throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Motts has hold of Ford's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ford tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Motts cranks the arm and Ford screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ford, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
