Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kharif Kaszpan (ranked 3874 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conner Oriley (ranked 7399 p4p, 0 weight class). Kharif Kaszpan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kharif Kaszpan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Conner Oriley!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaszpan throws the left hand but Oriley avoids the punch easily.

Kaszpan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Oriley's guard.
Kaszpan wants to stand but Oriley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Kaszpan cracks Oriley with a solid left hand.
Oriley throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Kaszpan wants to control from the top but Oriley keeps moving.
Kaszpan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaszpan trying to control but Oriley is working from the bottom.

Kaszpan wants to get up but he can't break Oriley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kaszpan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kaszpan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Oriley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kaszpan tries to stand but Oriley controls the position and pulls Kaszpan into his guard.

Kaszpan tries to stand and escape but Oriley actually recovers to full guard.
Kaszpan chips away with some ground and pound.

Kaszpan wants to stand and escape but instead Oriley has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Oriley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kaszpan dives on top into guard.

Kaszpan wants to control from the top but Oriley keeps moving.
Kaszpan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Kaszpan passes into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kaszpan wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Oriley uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kaszpan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've been informed that Oriley has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Kaszpan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Oriley wants to improve his position but Kaszpan is controlling well.
Kaszpan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Oriley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kaszpan winds up and cracks Oriley with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kaszpan has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Oriley works to full guard.
Kaszpan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Kaszpan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oriley on the ground.

Kaszpan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Oriley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Kaszpan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Oriley lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Oriley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kaszpan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Oriley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kharif Kaszpan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kaszpan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oriley looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Oriley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sloppy strikes from Kaszpan. Those never looked like landing.
Kaszpan moves in looking to clinch but Oriley pushes him off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Conner Oriley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Kaszpan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kaszpan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oriley is squirming around, avoiding Kaszpan's attempts to control the action.

Kaszpan is really struggling to control Oriley but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Kaszpan can't control as he wanted to and Oriley manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Kaszpan is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Kaszpan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Oriley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kaszpan prevents Oriley from improving his position.
Kaszpan is pressing down on Oriley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Oriley is holding on for now.
Oriley is not content to let Kaszpan control the position.

Kaszpan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oriley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oriley looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kaszpan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Oriley but Oriley pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Oriley tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kharif Kaszpan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oriley misses with a head kick.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kharif Kaszpan.
I think Kaszpan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
