Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bente Log (ranked 7107 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darko Ferizovic (ranked 6135 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Log gets caught napping as Ferizovic dives in and scores a takedown. Log manages to retain guard.
Ferizovic wants to control from the top but Log keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Log trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Log trying to control the position here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferizovic pushing down on Log's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Ferizovic is looking to take a break and control but Log is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Log is controlling Ferizovic's trapped leg to prevent Ferizovic from advancing to side control.
Ferizovic is thwarting Log's attempts to control the position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Log is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferizovic wants to stand but Log has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Log stuffs the takedown.
Log avoids the body shot from Ferizovic.
Ferizovic throws a sloppy head kick and Log moves out of range easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Log shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Log was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ferizovic pushes Log away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Log gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Ferizovic tries to bench press Log off him but Log keeps the position.
Log cracks Ferizovic with an elbow. That is naaassty.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Log in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Log definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Log throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Ferizovic gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Log holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Log blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Log has Ferizovic pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Log pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ferizovic tumbling to the mat - Log dives into Ferizovic's guard.

Ferizovic has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Log has passed into side control.

Log works to advance to full mount. Ferizovic defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Log looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Ferizovic is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bente Log overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ferizovic is bucking up trying to escape but Log cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Log gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

and Log counters with a series of strikes. Ferizovic will be more careful next time no doubt.

Log closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ferizovic's guard.

Ferizovic takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Log is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ferizovic has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ferizovic is trying to work for a sweep but Log has mounted him!
Ferizovic tries to reverse the position but Log maintains control.

Log looking to finish Ferizovic with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ferizovic!
Log landing strikes from the mount and Ferizovic is in trouble!
Ferizovic flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Log controlling the pace for now.
Log lands a couple of good shots and Ferizovic has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Log's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Ferizovic fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Log swats away the attempt to clinch by Ferizovic.

and Log counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Log stands and steps away. Ferizovic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Log is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Log has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ferizovic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Log is fending him off so far but Ferizovic persists. Nope, Log circles away and we're back to standing.
Bente Log has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darko Ferizovic.
Ferizovic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Log has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Well Log has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
