The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Ali Ali has been cut.
Mayer works the jab nicely.
Mayer throws out a loose jab but Ali uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ali changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mayer tries to avoid it but Ali manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mayer to the ground. Mayer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice body punch from Mayer.
Mayer has Ali up against the cage in a clinch.

Mayer gets through Ali's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ali is breathing heavily.
Ali is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mayer to keep the fight standing.

Mayer pushes Ali against the cage. Mayer is working some dirty boxing. Mayer pushes off with a quick right hook! Ali goes down! Ali tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Mayer moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
