5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Tchusuk! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tchusuk with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Impaler to score with a decent uppercut. We've been informed that Tchusuk has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Tchusuk misses with a combination
and Impaler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tchusuk misses with a hook. Impaler ducked under it nicely. Impaler avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tchusuk misses with a right hand and Impaler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Impaler throws a jab when Tchusuk was well out of range. Tchusuk is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Tchusuk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tchusuk clinches up against the cage. Impaler blocks an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Impaler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've been told by Impaler's head coaches at LOD London BALLS OF STEEL that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Tchusuk clinches with his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tchusuk swings wildly with an uppercut but Impaler uses good head movement to avoid it. Tchusuk misses with the head strike.

Tchusuk misses with a hook from the clinch. Tchusuk lands a right hand that snaps the head of Impaler backwards. Impaler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kenny Tchusuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tchusuk misses with an uppercut. Impaler circles away from the clinch attempt.
It looked like Impaler wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Impaler is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Tchusuk lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Impaler out cold! Impaler is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
