Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wale Ammond (ranked 1885 p4p, 230 weight class) and Nick Morris (ranked 2000 p4p, 247 weight class). Ammond's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bad. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wale Ammond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Morris! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ammond fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Morris has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Morris thows a body kick. Ammond tries to catch it but that hurt him. We've been hearing reports that Ammond has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ammond wants to slow Morris down by chopping away at his legs. Morris thows a left - swing and a miss! Ammond ducks right into an uppercut from Morris. Ammond throws a leg kick but Morris moved away. Ammond gets a clinch. Morris is struggling to control the position. Ammond just leaning against Morris, taking a breather. Morris wants to stall.
Morris cracks Ammond with a nice body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morris fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Morris breaks the clinch.
Ammond throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Ammond drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morris misses with an uppercut
and Ammond counters with a single leg into guard. Morris didn't expect that. Ammond advances position into side control! Ammond has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Morris is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ammond yanks on the arm and Morris is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ammond.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Wale Ammond! Wale Ammond gave a mention to Pit Bull Development in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
