Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitaly Karelin (ranked 309 p4p, 10 weight class) and Al Hallick (ranked 164 p4p, 7 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Vitaly Karelin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Al Hallick! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karelin looks to throw the jab but Hallick is out of range. Karelin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hallick under the eye.
It looks like Al Hallick has been cut. Karelin misses with a hook. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hallick! But no joy. Karelin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hallick doesn't seem bothered though. Karelin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hallick throws out a counter right but Karelin avoids it with no problem. Karelin just misses with a punch to the body.

An attempted straight right counter from Karelin misses the target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Karelin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hallick avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hallick uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vitaly Karelin dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Karelin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hallick to the mat! Hallick manages to get full guard. Karelin works over Hallick with some ground and pound from guard.
