Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raulian Satoshi (ranked 4422 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Slobodyanyuk (ranked 5100 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Raulian Satoshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roman Slobodyanyuk! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Satoshi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Slobodyanyuk on his heels. He'll look to pass Slobodyanyuk's guard now, I'm sure. Satoshi stopping the sweep attempt from Slobodyanyuk. Satoshi throws a big right hand that misses. Satoshi tries to stand but Slobodyanyuk is controlling from the bottom. Slobodyanyuk is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Satoshi chips away with some ground and pound. Satoshi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Satoshi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slobodyanyuk dives on top into guard. Satoshi seems keen to control Slobodyanyuk's posture. Satoshi looking for a sweep. Not yet Satoshi, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Satoshi pulls Slobodyanyuk in to control the position. Slobodyanyuk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Satoshi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slobodyanyuk wants to control from the top but Satoshi keeps moving. Satoshi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Slobodyanyuk passes easily into side control. Nice work. Satoshi can't do much from the bottom here. Slobodyanyuk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Satoshi defending against the ground and pound. Satoshi is trying to control Slobodyanyuk's posture but Slobodyanyuk avoids it. Satoshi is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Slobodyanyuk's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Satoshi is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Slobodyanyuk trying to advance position but Satoshi counters by regaining guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slobodyanyuk passes Satoshi's left leg - he's now in half guard. Satoshi is holding on to half guard well. Slobodyanyuk tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Satoshi. Satoshi wants to improve his position but Slobodyanyuk is controlling well.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Slobodyanyuk missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Satoshi actively working from the bottom here. Satoshi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Slobodyanyuk. Satoshi is looking to escape.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Nice body punch from Slobodyanyuk. Satoshi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. A lull in the action here as Satoshi stalls from top position. Satoshi tries to move to full mount but Slobodyanyuk actually manages to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Roman Slobodyanyuk will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A lazy body kick from Slobodyanyuk and Satoshi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Slobodyanyuk's guard. Satoshi is looking to stand up but Slobodyanyuk won't let him. Satoshi sitting in guard, not really doing much. Slobodyanyuk controls Satoshi momentarily but Satoshi frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slobodyanyuk working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Satoshi has passed into half guard!

Slobodyanyuk is looking for a sweep. Satoshi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Raulian Satoshi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Still in half guard, Satoshi seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Satoshi stops Slobodyanyuk from getting back to his feet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Slobodyanyuk fails with a takedown attempt. Slobodyanyuk shoots for a takedown but Satoshi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Slobodyanyuk tries for a takedown but Satoshi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Raulian Satoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Slobodyanyuk. Satoshi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slobodyanyuk's waist but Slobodyanyuk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Satoshi off to one side. Satoshi stuffs the takedown attempt from Slobodyanyuk. Slobodyanyuk gets slowly back to his feet. Slobodyanyuk is breathing heavily. Satoshi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Slobodyanyuk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Satoshi misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Satoshi controls the position. Satoshi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Satoshi tries for a kimura but Slobodyanyuk is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Satoshi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Slobodyanyuk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Satoshi throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

The referee asks Satoshi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Satoshi prefers to stall for the moment though. Slobodyanyuk tries to buck Satoshi off but Satoshi is having none of it. Slobodyanyuk can't do much from the bottom here. Satoshi throwing shots but missing, from side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! You can see the frustration on Slobodyanyuk's face as Satoshi controls the position. Satoshi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Slobodyanyuk can do to turn this around? Satoshi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Slobodyanyuk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raulian Satoshi dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Slobodyanyuk misses with a takedown and Slobodyanyuk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Satoshi looking to score a takedown here. Slobodyanyuk is defending well but Satoshi drives through and ends up in Slobodyanyuk's guard. Slobodyanyuk kicks Satoshi off and gets to his feet. Satoshi shoots for a takedown but Slobodyanyuk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Slobodyanyuk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Satoshi tries to avoid it but Slobodyanyuk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Satoshi to the ground. Satoshi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Satoshi is looking for a counter combo. Raulian Satoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Slobodyanyuk. Slobodyanyuk tries for a takedown but Satoshi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A little feinted left hand from Satoshi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Slobodyanyuk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Satoshi clinches up against the cage. Satoshi has picked Slobodyanyuk up - he's going for a ride! Satoshi dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Satoshi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slobodyanyuk is just riding it out for now. Satoshi eventually gives up the hold. Slobodyanyuk wants to control the action here but instead Satoshi manages to pass to full mount! Satoshi controlling from mount.

Satoshi content just to control the position here. Slobodyanyuk tries to reverse the position but Satoshi maintains control. Satoshi unloads with some shots from mount but Slobodyanyuk bucks and avoids them well.
Slobodyanyuk tries to hold on but Satoshi pushes him away. Slobodyanyuk wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Satoshi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Slobodyanyuk for as long as he can get away with. Slobodyanyuk is trying desperately to improve position. Satoshi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Satoshi avoids the attempt from Slobodyanyuk to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Satoshi sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Satoshi looking to ground and pound but Slobodyanyuk is blocking nicely. Satoshi lands a big shot there that rocks Slobodyanyuk but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

And that's the end of the fight! Raulian Satoshi showed his dominance in that final round. Well Satoshi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
