Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between El Misterioso Damballah (ranked 1649 p4p, 213 weight class) and Danny Page (ranked 2627 p4p, 296 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Damballah, pushing him back against the cage.
Page throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Page's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Page drops his hands momentarily and Damballah takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That was a close round but I would say that El Misterioso Damballah will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Page lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Damballah has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Damballah and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Page drives through and clinches with Damballah against the cage.
Damballah ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Damballah no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Damballah, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
