Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mattay Oldson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bice Claypool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Claypool has chosen Pantera - Walk as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mattay Oldson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bice Claypool! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Claypool instigates a clinch. Claypool breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Claypool throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Oldson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Oldson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Bice Claypool has been cut. A thudding body kick lands there by Oldson!
Oldson moves out of range as Claypool strikes. Oldson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Oldson. Oldson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Claypool's sensitive parts. Oldson scores with a one two! Claypool had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Oldson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Oldson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Claypool connects with a right hand. Oldson shakes it off. Claypool swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Oldson counters with a shoot takedown. Claypool fights it but they end up in guard. Oldson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Claypool looks gassed! Claypool wants to stand up but Oldson is controlling him. Claypool keeping full guard, as Oldson tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Claypool is trying to control the position but Oldson postures up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Claypool holds on and takes a little breather. Claypool keeping moving, preventing Oldson from controlling successfully. Claypool throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Oldson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Claypool swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Claypool closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Oldson lands a nice shot to the body. Oldson jumps guard.
Oldson throwing short punches from the bottom. Claypool trying to control the position from guard on top but Oldson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Claypool stopping the sweep attempt from Oldson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Claypool working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Oldson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Claypool doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Claypool manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Claypool is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Claypool stands and steps away. Oldson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Oldson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Claypool. Claypool circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Oldson gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Claypool's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Claypool manages to get back to half guard. Claypool regains full guard. Nicely done. Oldson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Oldson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Oldson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Claypool wants to break free but Oldson has control.
Oldson gets underhooks to prevent Claypool's takedown attempt.
Claypool wants to stall.
Claypool drops down looking for an ankle pick but Oldson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Claypool shoots for a double leg takedown but Oldson sprawls well. He's pushed Claypool's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mattay Oldson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bice Claypool. Claypool closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right from Claypool on the inside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oldson breaks the clinch.
Claypool tries to clinch but Oldson moves away and Oldson counters with a single leg into guard. Claypool didn't expect that. Oldson trying to control but Claypool is working from the bottom. Oldson is really struggling to control Claypool but he's trying to hold on to the position. Claypool looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Oldson is defending well. Claypool quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Oldson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Claypool celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
