Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Boskins (ranked 4962 p4p, 174 weight class) and Lucio Francisco Carmo (ranked 4815 p4p, 170 weight class). Carmo has chosen Rolling Stones - Paint it, Black as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Boskins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucio Francisco Carmo! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ron Honeybunn and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boskins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Carmo to the mat! Carmo manages to get full guard. Boskins wants to control from the top but Carmo keeps moving. Boskins throwing strikes from guard but Carmo blocks nicely. Carmo looking for a sweep. Not yet Carmo, not yet. Boskins is working Carmo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Boskins with a flurry of punches that miss. Boskins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Boskins looking to sit in guard and control but Carmo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boskins is trying to control the position but Carmo postures up. Boskins keeping full guard, as Carmo tries to pass. Boskins looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Carmo passes into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Boskins's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Boskins is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Boskins is working hard here to advance position. Boskins is trying to control Carmo's posture but Carmo avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Boskins prevents Carmo from improving position. Boskins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Boskins trying to remain calm as Carmo controls from the top position. Carmo gets to mount! Boskins was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Boskins is desperately trying to improve his position but Carmo has a good base and remains in mount. Carmo looking to control but Boskins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Boskins can't escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carmo looking to control but Boskins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Carmo avoids the attempt from Boskins to control. Boskins is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Carmo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Carmo throwing strikes but Boskins uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boskins looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Boskins controlling the position for now. Carmo wants to take a breather but Boskins is having none of it. Well, if Carmo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Carmo works his way into full mount! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Boskins is trying to escape the mount.

Boskins scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Carmo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boskins to score with a decent uppercut. Boskins throws out a loose jab but Carmo uses good head movement to avoid it. Boskins is looking to clinch. Carmo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boskins manages to avoid it. Boskins shoots in and gets a takedown into Carmo's guard. Boskins postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Boskins scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boskins passes into half guard. Carmo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Boskins lands a nice short elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boskins is trying to control. Carmo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Carmo has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Carmo is looking to control Boskins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Carmo avoid being mounted? Boskins is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Boskins wants to control but Carmo is keeping him busy. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Carmo manages to get to full guard.
Carmo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carmo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boskins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Carmo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Boskins wants to get back to his feet. Boskins wants to improve his position but Carmo is controlling well.
Carmo is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Boskins wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Carmo is now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boskins wants to get back to full guard. Boskins is staying active underneath Carmo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Boskins wants to get back to his feet. Boskins is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carmo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carmo's back! Boskins not allowing Carmo to control his hands. Carmo is taking damage to the body and head. Boskins lands a shot to the body. Carmo is trying to defend against the choke here but Boskins has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Boskins Tightens the hold and Carmo taps out furiously! Boskins displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
