Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Murdo Douglass (ranked 1780 p4p, 190 weight class) and Joe Foreman (ranked 1346 p4p, 149 weight class). Douglass comes into the arena with Union Underground - Across The Nation blaring out of the sound system. Murdo Douglass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Foreman !
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Douglass.
Douglass slips a jab from Foreman .
Douglass takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A head kick by Douglass misses
and Douglass takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Murdo Douglass has been cut.
Douglass misses with a double jab
and Foreman counters with a two punch combo.
A low kick from Douglass misses
and Foreman counters with a straight right hand.
Foreman misses with a looping right.
Foreman jabs at Douglass's body.
Douglass lands a glancing blow to the side of Foreman 's head.

Douglass blocks a jab.
Douglass throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Joe Foreman has been cut.
Douglass throws a hook but Foreman blocks it.
Foreman lands with an overhand left.
Foreman lands a head shot.
Murdo Douglass's cut is getting worse.
Douglass tries to land a front kick but Foreman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Foreman digs a good hook to Douglass's body.
Foreman throws a hook but Douglass blocks it.

Douglass throws a nice inside leg kick.
Douglass tries to land a body kick
and Foreman counters with a crisp right hand that drops Douglass! Foreman lets Douglass back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Foreman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Foreman looks to land a left hand but Douglass moved out of range nicely.
Foreman throws a series of punches but Douglass avoids them all with ease.
Douglass throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Foreman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Murdo Douglass's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Douglass connects with a single shot there.
Douglass lands a nice leg kick that just misses Foreman 's sensitive parts.
Douglass takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Foreman lands a big right hand that sends Douglass crashing to the mat! Foreman stays standing though and waves Douglass back to his feet!
Douglass is rocked!
Jeez, Murdo Douglass's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Murdo Douglass's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
