Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Paddy (ranked 1535 p4p, 194 weight class) and Osiris Egyptian (ranked 1247 p4p, 154 weight class). Max Paddy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Paddy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Osiris Egyptian! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paddy throws a combination that misses and Egyptian counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've been hearing reports that Paddy has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Paddy misses with a combination
letting Egyptian counter with a right hand. Paddy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Egyptian is fending him off so far but Paddy persists. Nope, Egyptian circles away and we're back to standing. Paddy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Egyptian can pounce on him.
Paddy swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Egyptian counter with a right hand. Paddy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Egyptian was well out of range. Poor timing from Paddy. Egyptian throws a leg kick which misses Paddy's front leg but catches the back leg as Paddy tries to avoid it. Paddy lands a nice shot to the body.
Paddy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. A momentary lapse in concentration from Egyptian enables Paddy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Egyptian manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Paddy stopping the sweep attempt from Egyptian. Egyptian has his foot on Paddy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Paddy works his way back into a safe position though. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Paddy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Egyptian controlling the position. Paddy preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Egyptian wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Egyptian wants to sweep but no luck. Paddy trying to control but Egyptian is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Max Paddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paddy falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Egyptian to counter with a crisp jab. Paddy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Egyptian feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Paddy's calf.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Egyptian fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Egyptian getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Egyptian will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Egyptian throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Egyptian.
Paddy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Paddy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A shot to the liver by Paddy. Beautiful body shot. Good leg kick by Egyptian there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Paddy checks a low kick from Egyptian. Paddy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A telegraphed right hand from Paddy misses the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paddy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Egyptian fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Paddy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Paddy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A little jabbing left from Egyptian on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Paddy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Egyptian was covering up waiting for the punch and Paddy finishes the takedown easily into guard. Egyptian tries to land a sweep but no joy. Paddy trying to control but Egyptian is working from the bottom. Egyptian has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Paddy has passed into side control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Osiris Egyptian dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Paddy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Egyptian connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. No joy there for Paddy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch lands to the side of Paddy 's head but he takes it in his stride. Egyptian has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Egyptian jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Paddy throws a right and a left that Egyptian avoids nicely. Egyptian blocks a head kick by Paddy.
Paddy throws a sloppy head kick and Egyptian moves out of range easily. Egyptian bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Paddy's head. Paddy throws a lazy head kick and Egyptian counters with a stiff right hand.
Paddy is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paddy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Oh Paddy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Egyptian blocks a low kick nicely. Egyptian will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Egyptian feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Paddy sprawling to the canvas! Paddy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Egyptian finish him?!
Paddy misses with a takedown and Egyptian counters with a huge left! Paddy is in big trouble! He's backing up but Egyptian isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Paddy from any more damage. A dominating finish by Egyptian!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Osiris Egyptian! Osiris Egyptian decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
