Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between James Osterberg (ranked 4864 p4p, 220 weight class) and Oskar Friman (ranked 5385 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Oskar Friman! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Friman stuffs the takedown attempt from Osterberg. Osterberg gets slowly back to his feet. Friman is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Friman gets in close and instigates a clinch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Friman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Friman is defending well against a takedown attempt. Osterberg tries to score a body lock takedown but Friman shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Osterberg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Friman manages to get himself to full guard.

Friman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Osterberg has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Friman has managed to get both his arms back between Osterberg's legs - danger averted. Osterberg seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Friman tries to free his leg and advance position but Osterberg is retaining full guard. Friman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Osterberg looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Friman has picked Osterberg up and slammed him! Osterberg can't keep hold of the triangle and Friman manages to pass to side control! That's seven minutes gone in the round. Osterberg is not content to let Friman control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Osterberg is looking to regain half guard here but Friman keeps moving and retains side control. Osterberg is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Friman is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Score +2 for reaching mount: Osterberg (8) vs (9) Friman Osterberg is desperately trying to improve his position but Friman has a good base and remains in mount. Friman controlling his opponent. Osterberg wants to hold on but Friman pushes him away. Friman trying to control but Osterberg is having none of it.

Osterberg wants to pass the guard but Friman is defending well. Osterberg is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Friman is just riding it out for now. Osterberg eventually gives up the hold. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Osterberg tries to pass the half guard into mount. Friman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Friman is controlling Osterberg's trapped leg to prevent Osterberg from advancing to side control. Osterberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Friman keeps working. Friman has his hands clasped together around Osterberg's back. He's all about the action. Let's hope that Friman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
