Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sergeant drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Silva is looking for a sweep.

Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Sergeant tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sergeant manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sergeant manages to avoid it.
Sergeant will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Adriano Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
