Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ronny Rush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Storm! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rush wants to break free but Storm has control.
Storm manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Storm blocks a low kick nicely. Rush throws a low kick, looking for Storm's leg but Storm calmly moves out of range. Storm misses with a takedown attempt and Rush counters by clinching up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm tries to pull guard but Rush holds him up against the cage and eventually Storm drops back down to his feet.
Storm manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm shoots in for a takedown but Rush shows good takedown defense. As Storm looks to move away, Rush throws a big counter combo but Storm just gets out of the way. Ronny Rush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Storm. Rush stuffs the takedown. Storm swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rush counters with a solid body kick. Rush blocks the body kick.
Rush appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Storm rushes Rush and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Storm tries to score a body lock takedown but Rush shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Storm tries to pull guard but Rush holds him up against the cage and eventually Storm drops back down to his feet.
Rush could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Storm prevents Rush from breaking the clinch. Storm has Rush pressed against the cage, preventing Rush from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Storm is pushing Rush up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

A frustrated look appears on Rush's face as he tries to break the clinch. Storm displaying some good clinch control by pressing Rush up against the cage. Storm breaks the clinch.
Storm gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rush counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Rush tries to close the distance and clinch but Storm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A good leg kick by Rush. Michael Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rush moves into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Rush's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rush is defending well against a takedown attempt. Storm is working for takedown but Rush is calmly controlling the position for now. Storm looks winded! Storm jumps guard but Rush turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Storm wants a takedown.

Storm tries to land knees in the clinch but Rush avoids the damage to the body. Storm is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rush is defending well. Storm misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Storm tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rush lands a left hand that snaps the head of Storm backwards. Storm drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rush pulls his leg out and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rush thows a body kick. Storm tries to catch it but that hurt him. Storm throws a sloppy head kick and Rush counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Storm jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rush tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Storm manages to circle out of the way. Storm tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rush swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rush moves into the clinch. Storm can't get the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rush tries to clinch up but Storm circles away and keeps his distance. Storm wants to counter the offense by Rush and move into the clinch position. Storm gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Storm misses with a body punch
and Rush counters with a two punch combo. Storm on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rush. Rush obviously looking to wear him down.
Storm lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Ronny Rush is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Storm has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Rush. Storm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rush is fending him off so far but Storm persists. Nope, Rush circles away and we're back to standing. Rush half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Storm keeps the fight on the outside. Rush takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Storm doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rush counters with a thumping low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush cracks Storm with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Rush tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A jab from Rush does it's job there. Storm throws a head kick but Rush moves out of range.

Rush lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Michael Storm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rush pushes Storm up against the cage in a clinch. Rush pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Storm tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rush paws at him with a jab and circles away. Storm blocks a head kick by Rush.

That's going to take a lot out of Michael Storm. Storm throws a series of punches but Rush avoids them all with ease. Ronny Rush is winning the standup battle so far. Storm takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Storm shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Storm was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm working away. Rush gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Rush tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Storm throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rush tries to roll over but Storm keeps him under control. Rush is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rush is looking to improve his position.
Rush gets full guard. Rush trying to keep a closed guard but Storm is proving a slippery customer.
Rush keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Storm controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Storm's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Rush clinches up with Storm and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm breaks the clinch.
Storm swings for the body but Rush moves out of range.
And Rush counters with a quick kick to the body but Storm blocks it. Rush scores with a leg kick.
Storm shoots in looking for a takedown. Rush tries to sprawl out of it but Storm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rush manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rush takes the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storm breaks from the clinch.
Rush is looking to chop away at Storm's legs. Storm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rush lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Rush scoring well with a low kick there.
Storm fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Storm looks to land a combination but Rush avoids it well. An attempted straight right counter from Rush misses the target. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rush scores with a leg kick.
Rush lands with a thumping leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Ronny Rush showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rush, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
