Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Irving Horn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Dingo! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dingo was covering up waiting for the punch and Horn finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dingo wriggles free and stands up. Dingo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Horn manages to escape and get back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dingo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dingo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dingo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Horn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Dingo prevents Horn from standing back up.
Dingo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Horn tries to roll over but Dingo keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horn taking some punishment here, with Dingo in his half guard.
It looks like Irving Horn has been cut. Dingo thows a huge punch but Horn dodges it nicely.
Horn is defending against the submission attempts here by Dingo.
Dingo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dingo not landing any meaningful shots this time. Dingo is nestled in close to Horn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Horn looks like he's trying to stand up.

Horn is rocked! Horn is trying to stand back up but Dingo is controlling him
Oh Horn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Dingo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dingo is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Horn is hurt! He's hurt bad - Dingo fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Horn from any more punishment! Congratulations to Dingo! Great finish!
