Dan is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Average looking for a sweep. Not yet Average, not yet.

Average has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Dan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Average has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dan has managed to get both his arms back between Average's legs - danger averted.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
